Lemon Rice or Chitrannam is a very common preparation in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and other Indian Cuisine.

Ingredients
- 2cpus boiled Rice
- 3 Lemons
- 6Tbs Oil
- 1 tsp cumins seads
- 1 tsp mustered seeds
- Few Curry leaves
- 4-5 Green chilies
- 2-3 Red chilies
- 1/4 cup Peanuts
- slight turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
Method
- Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds cumins seeds, allow to splutter.
- Add turmeric powder and peanuts, fry till brown.
- Now add green and red chilies, curry leaves, salt and fry for 2 minutes.
- Take it off from the flame and add lemon juice and mix well.
- Now add this to the boiled rice and mix well.Lemon rice is ready to be served.
